Retraining Monty, an OTT that had established avoidance behaviours. He was very typical, such as being super stiff, would only throw one lead, heavy on the bit, speed up and get hot, the list goes on. Monty’s biggest hurdle being an ex-racehorse was his canter, he would get into a track work canter, wanting to speed up and his adrenaline would kick in. His new foundation consist of leg yielding, listening to seat, flexibility, moving of pressure, collection, all the basics to set him up for success. I have really enjoyed working with him.
